Internship placement – Observational Drawing

As it is Easter time a class went to their local church, where they had a talk from the priest about Easter. Once they had the talk they were shown around the church and got an insight to what happens within the church. After, the children got the chance to roam around inside and outside.

Whilst outside, they had there sketchbooks with them, and where asked to do observational drawings of the church, which they will then use later on in the school term to do something else with.

I assisted with helping the children to point out specific things, such as the plants, trees, grave headstones, and any patterns they could fine (like gates and walls).
